The CRA trains, practices and supports community compost programs at homes, schools and community gardens. Currently, we support the Ojai Soil Cyclers: a free compost pick-up service which collects residential compost by bicycle and delivers it to Ojai Community Demonstration Garden where it is processed into high quality soil amendment and compost tea.

At the moment, we have reached our max capacity for compost pick-up. Residents of Ojai are still welcome to compost their own food scraps at the Ojai City Demonstration Garden on S. Ventura St. Please use posted instructions by compost piles. Stay tuned for new compost service sites in Ventura.

SOIL CYCLERS! Want to Volunteer? Volunteers can bike alongside us to assist with the residential compost pick-up.
