Students Tree Planting |

| 1.In November 2007, elementary students at Blanchard School in Santa Paula planted shade trees between their classrooms. |

| 2. The great cooperation between the older and younger students and the maintenance crew helped make this planting a success. |

| 3. Classes took it in turns to fill in the holes they had dug around their new trees. |
|
|
| 4. Some of our youngest students were the most enthusiastic helpers. |
 |
| 5. Once we planted the trees we held hands in a circle around them to welcome them to the school. |
